What Are Neuromodulators?
Neuromodulators are prescription injectable medications that temporarily relax targeted facial muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles. By reducing muscle contraction, the overlying skin smooths while preserving natural facial expression.
How It Works (Clinical Explanation)
Neuromodulators block acetylcholine release at the neuromuscular junction, preventing excessive muscle contraction. This allows the skin to rest and prevents repetitive folding that leads to wrinkle formation.
